Our schedule is very dynamic. No two home renovations are the same; therefore, the timeline will be completely dependent on your project’s scope of work and scale. Rest assured, we develop a full schedule for your project before we start so you can know exactly what’s happening at all times and plan your life around it! Of course, sometimes factors out of our control can disrupt the schedule, but we promise we will always do everything in our power to keep things on track and flowing smoothly.
We wish we could give you a cost right here, right now! Unfortunately, in the world of renovations, every single project is unique. We would love to meet with you to discuss what you’re looking for so that we can put together a plan that is specific to the needs of your project. Our estimates are detailed, transparent, and customized to incorporate all of the work required for us to deliver you a five-star renovation experience!
It is helpful for us to know what your budget is and we will always be honest with you regarding whether we can deliver your vision within it.
Although we try our best to be as accurate as possible with our estimates; because it is a renovation, there may be unknowns/unforeseen circumstances that we come across once we start. To be safe, we usually recommend that our clients consider keeping a contingency fund of 10-15% just in case something arises. Of course, we would always discuss with you and get approval on major changes in scope before proceeding! Hopefully, you won’t need it, but since our goal is to deliver the highest quality construction experience – we like to make sure you have the information required to make your project a success!
Once your online quote request form is submitted and hits our inbox, we will quickly review your request and follow up with an invite to book a time in our online calendar for us to meet and discuss your project! Select a day and time that works best for you.
When we meet with you, we’ll discuss all your ideas and make a record of everything we need to know to provide you with a customized estimate, tailored specifically to the scope of your project.
We’re completely transparent with our clients and our proposal, and we’re committed to working with you to make any changes required and answering any questions or concerns you may have.
In the kindest, most sincere way, our answer to this question is – “Unfortunately, no. We do not price match.” While we recognize we aren’t the only general contractor around, we certainly feel like the full experience, services, and results we deliver merit our cost. We are much more concerned with delivering 100% satisfaction to you than what our competitors are charging.
We pride ourselves on working with some of the most like-minded and trustworthy crews in town! We hold ourselves and all our trade partners to the highest standards. Our sub-trade partners are all professional and reputable companies in their fields. Please feel free to check out our client and sub-trade testimonials, and our Google and Facebook reviews. We know our reputation is only as good as our last project, so hear it straight from the authorities on the subject!
Absolutely!
We are more than happy to collaborate with you (or your friend that owes you a huge favour!)
But…
Two disclaimers here; this will likely have a major impact on our ability to maintain a smooth schedule, and we cannot guarantee the quality of workmanship if we aren’t doing the work.
Please be sure to mention this in our initial consult and proceed at your own risk!

We know that getting prepared for a renovation can seem overwhelming. Don’t panic! We’ve been doing this for a long time! We’ll help you organize your thoughts and walk you through the steps of getting yourself, and your space ready for an overhaul!
Of course! However, depending on the scope of the renovation, you may not want to live there!
When we visit with you to discuss your project, we will discuss with you how your renovation may impact the daily function of your home!
The only areas of your home or business that will get dirty are the areas we’re working on!
We hate mess as much as you do so our goal is to have our work areas “sock feet” clean by the end of every workday (although to be clear, for safety reasons, we don’t recommend strolling around in these areas without shoes). Other areas of your home will be protected at all times. With that being said, renovations are dusty – and dust can be hard to contain. We will schedule duct cleaning at the end of your project to eliminate as much as possible, however, you may need to wipe surfaces down a few extra times over the course of the following week.
We offer a 1-year workmanship guarantee on all of our work. With that said, if there is something we or our sub-trades did incorrectly, we are always going to attempt to make it right (even if it’s after our 1 year warranty).
Some products/appliances/textiles have warranties that need to be registered by the client with the respective manufacturers/vendors/suppliers.
We’re constantly growing and evolving, and we’re always on the lookout to add new and fresh ideas and energy to our family-oriented, hard-working crew. Candidates we hire include anyone from entry-level labourers to experienced project managers.

While having a set of blueprints or design plans will certainly help put things in perspective, they are not always a necessity. If your project includes major plumbing, electrical or structural changes, then you may need a set of stamped plans and we can connect you with one of our knowledgeable and certified architect or engineer friends.
Absolutely! We’ve been doing this for long enough now that we are more than capable of walking you through the process of laying out your room, choosing your appliances and textiles and all of the other fun stuff that comes along with doing a renovation.
With that said, if your project requires any type of permit (ie: moving walls, additions, major plumbing or electrical changes, etc.) then we would need professional plans drawn up that we can submit to the city for approval. This is where we would bring an interior designer into the picture. They will sit down with you to discuss how your space works now, what’s not working, and your vision. From there, they can give you a non-biased view of any potential areas for improvement they see and create a set of drawings. These drawings lay out all aspects of your reno clearly which allows us to provide an accurate quote and get the permissions required to move forward. If your plans require additional certifications (such as a stamp from an engineer), we will help facilitate that.

Permits are sometimes required depending on the scope of work, such as structural changes, electrical updates, or plumbing modifications. While permits must be filed by the homeowner, we’ll guide you through the process to make sure everything is handled correctly and in compliance with local regulations.
Living in the home during construction often extends the timeline, as we have to work around daily routines, quiet hours, and accessibility needs. If you’re able to stay elsewhere, it allows us to move more quickly, start earlier, work later, and keep disruptions to a minimum. That said, we’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs and minimize the impact on your daily life.
You can, but most homeowners choose not to—especially if they don’t have another space that can function as a temporary kitchen. During construction, your kitchen will be completely out of commission, which means no stove, sink, or counters for meal prep.
If staying in your home, you’ll need to plan for alternative cooking options, like setting up a temporary kitchen with a microwave, toaster oven, and mini fridge. However, keep in mind that renovations tend to move faster when the home is unoccupied since we can work longer hours without worrying about disrupting your routine.
If you’re unsure what’s best, we can walk you through what to expect and help you make the right call for your situation. Either way, we’ll always do our best to accommodate your needs and minimize the impact on your daily life.
Yes. Before we begin work, you’ll need to remove personal items from any areas being renovated. This helps protect your belongings from dust, debris, and accidental damage, while also ensuring a safer workspace for our crew.
Where you store your items is up to you, but here are some options:
- Use another area of your home – If you have extra space, temporarily storing items in a basement, garage, or spare room can be a convenient solution.
- Off-site storage – Many clients opt for short-term storage units to keep their belongings safe and out of the way.
- Portable storage containers – Storage units, like a PUP or shipping container, can be delivered to your property and picked up when the renovation is complete.
If you need recommendations, we’re happy to help point you in the right direction!
Not at all! Some clients come to us with a fully designed kitchen, while others just have a general idea of what they want. Either way, we’ll walk you through the planning phase, discuss your needs, and help refine your vision. If needed, we can also recommend experienced kitchen designers in Regina to assist with layouts, finishes, and overall aesthetics.
A few things can help ensure a smooth start:
- Clear out the space – Remove everything from cabinets, countertops, and drawers.
- Plan for meals – If you’re staying in your home, set up a temporary kitchen or stock up on easy, no-cook meal options.
- Secure pets and kids – Construction zones can be hazardous, so having a plan for pets and young children is a good idea.
Communicate any concerns early – If you have specific needs (like preferred working hours or special accommodations), let us know before the project starts so we can plan accordingly.
Yes, but keep in mind that changes can affect the timeline and budget. If you decide you want to adjust something mid-reno, we’ll guide you through the change order process so you know how it impacts cost and scheduling before making a decision.
With renovations, especially in older homes, surprises can sometimes pop up—like hidden plumbing or electrical issues. If we uncover anything unexpected, we’ll communicate with you right away, walk you through your options, and work together on a solution that fits your budget and timeline.
We work with trusted suppliers and high-quality materials to ensure your kitchen renovation lasts for years to come. The exact brands and materials depend on your preferences, budget, and design, but we’ll present you with options that balance quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.
Renovations come with some dust and debris, but we do everything we can to keep things as clean as possible. Our team takes protective measures like sealing off work areas, using dust control systems, and cleaning up at the end of each workday to minimize disruption to the rest of your home.
We stand behind our work with a one-year craftsmanship warranty, covering any issues related to our workmanship. If anything doesn’t hold up to the CoCon Standard, just reach out, and we’ll make it right. Many materials (like cabinets, countertops, and fixtures) also come with manufacturer warranties.
The workflow of your kitchen is important. You need to establish what your kitchen requirements are for your workspace, cupboard room, countertop space, appliance layout, room for entertaining, etc.
We’ll look at your existing layout to provide suggestions on how we can perhaps improve it to meet your kitchen requirements.
This depends entirely on your kitchen renovation vision.
We’ll take your requirements and budget into mind, bringing your dream kitchen to life without breaking the bank.
This is determined by the size of the kitchen renovation project, however they typically fall between 3 to 16 weeks.
During our initial meeting, we can better estimate the duration of your project based on the requirements. We can also discuss the timing that works best for both of us to ensure we minimize kitchen downtime and complete your kitchen project on time and on budget.

- IKEA Cabinets – A budget-friendly option with some limitations in size and style. We specialize in installing IKEA kitchen cabinets and have a few tricks to give them a high-end, custom look.
- Semi-Custom Cabinets – A great middle ground! We work with suppliers who offer high-quality cabinets in a variety of styles, colors, and finishes—often at prices that are only slightly higher than IKEA.
- Full Custom Cabinets – If you want a completely tailored look with unlimited design options, we partner with some of the best local cabinet makers who can create one-of-a-kind pieces to fit your space perfectly.
No matter which route you take, we’ll help you weigh the options and make the best choice for your dream kitchen.
