The culture is to have fun while you work and do a good job.
It’s been a great experience working for Collaborative Construction. I started as a Framer and four years in, I have now moved up to Project Manager. I’ve really enjoyed all of it and have learned a lot.
The culture is to have fun while you work and do a good job. Everybody on the crew at Collaborative is willing to go above and beyond to help everybody else out, whether that’s at work or in personal lives. You can always count on everybody to be there if you need a hand and we all just get along really well!
Collaborative was willing to take me on and teach me the ropes.
When I started out with Collaborative Construction 4 and a half years ago, I was just a General Laborer with some framing experience. They were willing to take me on and teach me the ropes and now I’m a Project Manager.
Some things I really enjoy about the company are just how close of a family we all really are. On Fridays we do a thing called Wins – that’s where we get together and talk about the positive things that have happened to us throughout the week.
Since I’ve worked at Collaborative Construction we’ve been on a couple different trips to Mexico, bowling trips, karaoke, lots of golf – Derek’s a good golfer and he likes to take us out and whoop our butts.
Finishing my first project as a Project Manager has been a really positive part of my career. To see everything come together has been very exciting and I’ve learned a lot since starting.
They made me feel like I was a friend and part of their family.
Being a part of the Collab team was a great experience that I’ll never forget or take for granted. They made me feel like I wasn’t just an employee, but a friend and part of their family. A large portion of the knowledge I have accumulated over the years, came from the many projects and experiences that I was a part of during my time with them.
I have learned, I have trained, I have excelled and I have grown with this group of people and they have all done the same around me.
I want to thank Trevor and Derek for the opportunity to work with their great team. Their unwavering confidence and approval of how I conducted myself was always appreciated. Thank you for helping to shape me into the man I am today.
The best way to describe Collaborative to friends and family is friendship.
The best way to describe Collaborative to friends and family is friendship. We can all get together on a Friday and spend time together instead of everybody trying to run home and get away from work.
What I enjoy the most about Collaborative Construction are the individuals that we work with – including our team and our sub-trades. Each and every one of us gets along great, providing an environment where we can easily bounce ideas off of each other.
Every Friday, we do ‘Friday Wins’ where we meet at the end of the day and each take a turn talking about what our greatest achievement was that week. Throughout the summer we get together as a team and go golfing. It’s a great way to bond as a team but also brings out our competitive nature as well.
