Collaborative Construction was proud to support Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan’s Home by Midnight Gala: an unforgettable evening dedicated to making homeownership more accessible for families across our province.
Held at the iconic Casino Regina Show Lounge, the event brought together leaders, change-makers, and neighbours for a night rooted in generosity and possibility. Think black-tie meets big-hearted — with live jazz, immersive event design, and a show-stopping live build right on stage. As donations rolled in, the framing of a new home came to life in real time, giving everyone in the room a front-row seat to the impact of their contributions.
Over $80,000 Raised in One Incredible Night
Habitat for Humanity Saskatchewan has already helped more than 200 working, lower-income families across the province become homeowners — creating access to safe, stable housing through community partnerships, volunteer efforts, and events like Home by Midnight. Their work goes beyond construction. It’s about building the foundation for stronger, more secure futures.
And on this night, that mission was met with remarkable generosity. By the end of the evening, more than $80,000 had been raised in support of affordable homeownership across Saskatchewan — a milestone that speaks to the power of people coming together with purpose.
Giving, Reimagined
From live and silent auctions to interactive giving stations and a door-key prize challenge, Home by Midnight reinvented the gala experience. Guests could purchase keys and try their luck unlocking one of the doors for a shot at the grand prize. It was fun, engaging, and deeply meaningful—making generosity feel accessible, exciting, and communal.
Why This Work Matters
As a proud sponsor, the Collaborative Construction team helped Home by Midnight in a number of ways. Our team collaborated closely with event partners, helped with assembly and takedown, and assisted with the logistics of the on-stage house build.
Supporting Home by Midnight is one way we live out our CoCon values. For us, it’s never just about what we build, but who we build it for. Partnering with Habitat for Humanity means investing in futures. It means supporting families who are ready to take the next step toward self-reliance and security.
